What is the Tamar goes to Town project?

Tamar is 12 this year and we are a successful and rapidly growing company in two international locations. At this stage in our growth I thought it was about time we took corporate social responsibility seriously and gave something back to the communities we work in. In keeping with our brand values of being can-do and results-driven, I wanted us to take a 'sleeves up' approach rather than simply raising money.

So this year we are embarking on our first community project in South Africa. We have chosen Vuyani Pre-Primary School in the Guguletu township and will be spending a week with the school building a new classroom block for them. Please do look at the rest of this website to find out more.

I would be delighted if clients, friends and family would all join in helping us to help this school. Tamar is covering all costs of flying and accommodating the staff so all money raised will go directly towards the building materials needed to complete the project.

We're looking forward to updating you on how we get on!

Tanya
